The Safe Children Coalition is a community coalition blending available resources to assist abused and neglected children and their families in reaching permanency in a safe and stable environment.
TMR Sarasota raised $400 to help fund the purchase of the backpacks, with half raised through a 50/50 raffle with recycling. TMR then matched the raffle funds raised. The TMR Sarasota also donated highlighters for each backpack, and donuts and coffee for volunteers at the backpack stuffing event.
