This GPS-based, asset control and dispatch system utilizes handheld units that capture driver, vehicle, container and customer locations in real-time. This information allows TMR's centralized dispatch to provide internal customers and suppliers "up to the minute" progress for each driver's trip to and from the supplier's site. With this software, rerouting, reporting and rescheduling are all done spontaneously. Critical updates to the status of any trip can be automatically emailed to our suppliers. This unique system eliminates the guess work and nuisance phone calls to drivers for ETA's or delivery status, and is very efficient.
