Trademark Metals Recycling Purchases Scrap-All Inc.
On October 23, 2006, Trademark Metals Recycling (TMR) purchased the assets and
business of Scrap-All Inc. from Herb Wax and Mark Goldman. Scrap-All Inc.,
founded in 1973, is considered one of the most respected scrap companies in
Central Florida, with operations in Tampa and Sarasota. Both Scrap-All
facilities are full-service ferrous and non-ferrous processing yards, operating
Sierra shears, balers, loggers and HRB’s. In addition, Scrap-All operates a
significant trucking fleet servicing their industrial business.
Jeremy Wax and Matt Goldman - - sons of the owners - - and Bob Merkle and Ann
Underwood will join the TMR/Scrap-All management team.
Trademark Metals is Florida’s largest full-service metals recycler, with 17
processing sites. TMR operates 4 automobile shredders, including the Tampa mega
shredder. TMR, the largest scrap exporter in Florida, is headquartered in
Tampa.
Trademark Metals is wholly owned by The David J. Joseph Company. Founded in
1885, DJJ is one of the largest scrap brokers/processors in the United States
with annual sales exceeding $5 billion. DJJ brokers ferrous and nonferrous
metals, pig iron, and HBI/DRI; supplies Ferro-Alloys; processes ferrous and
