On January 22, Trademark Metals Recycling (TMR) received the prestigious Florida/United Safety Council Award. Trademark Metals Recycling (TMR) was selected to receive the Safety Achievement Award in the "medium" company category (businesses with 501 - 2000 employees). This marks the fourth time in five years that TMR received this award.
The Florida/United Safety Council validates winning company's
dedication to workplace safety by
reviewing their health and
safety program. The evaluation includes topics such as
accident rates, inspection programs, employee training and
involvement, management support and the continuous improvement
process. Trademark Metals Recycling works to create an
environment safe from industrial and environmental hazards for our
employees and our customers. TMR's safety program is
successful thanks to company-wide staff commitment and to its
strong, continuing safety culture. By taking a proactive approach
to safety, rather than a reactive approach, TMR reduces accidents,
and strives to prevent them all together.
This United Safety Council Safety Award exemplifies Trademark Metal Recycling's ongoing commitment to safety.
