TMR Gainesville Participates in Touch-A-Truck Event

TMR Gainesville Participates in Touch-A-Truck Event On May 16, 2015, the Gainesville Trademark Metals Recycling (TMR) facility took part in the 6th Annual Sweet Dreams’ Touch-A-Truck event at the Northeast Complex next to Citizen’s Field. Sweet Dreams’ Touch-A-Truck sponsorship and donation proceeds benefit Camp Amigo!, a camp where children recovering from burn injuries participate in canoeing, swimming, arts and crafts and other activities. At the May 16 Touch-A-Truck event, TMR won the award for the 2015 Hunger Destroyer, bringing in 561 pounds of food to win the Food4Kids competition, providing food to children who are at risk of hunger on the weekends. TMR reached out to its customers, asking for donations of non-perishable items in exchange for an extra incentive for the ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal recycled.
